sculpture progress updates.

mini monster cast in rondo.  Mold made out of alginate note the air bubbles. I should have made a mold out of plaster or silicone. Only 3" or so.

Frame corner for a new eyeball painting I am working on. Notice custom tools ( thanks StanWinstonSchoolofCharacterarts)

Monster feet cast in liquid latex. These were for another sculpture Which I think I am going to redo.

Another shot of the mini monster.

eyes!

Posting up some old paintings... This was going to be a series. Each painting would have different layout, and composition. The goal was to have these function as an organism which would take over a surface. It was to be like some kind of parasitic fungus that watched you and bred more eyeballs. It was supposed to be tumors that existed in space or our planet. These were NOT influenced by the tool album. Which I get all the time the tool album is done by Alex Grey I think. And those eyes are all in a perfect aligned row. I was influenced by Giger.

this was a small piece I did for a friend. It hangs on his wall in his music studio.

This was the original that was made in my parents garage when I was 21. I used an entire sheet of masonite that is 4 feet high 8 feet wide. It took me almost a year to complete. Close to after its completion I met my wife and I painted her eye in the piece. Hers is the only color eye in the piece. (not shown)
